Forenoon (FN) Session : 09:00 AM to 12:00 noon

Afternoon (AN) Session : 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

GATE 2014 Examination will be held as per the following schedule. Please note that the examination for CE, CS, EC, EE, ME will be held in multiple sessions and for all other papers the examination will be held in a single session.

Candidates appearing for a paper that is scheduled in multi-session have NO CHOICE as far as the SESSION is concerned. The session allotment will be done on a random basis by GATE 2014 Administration. NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE OF SESSION SHALL BE ENTERTAINED AT ANY POINT OF TIME UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

What is Gate 2014 ?

GATE 2014 is a Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD),Government of India for admission to Master’s degree programmes in Engineering/Technology/Architecture as well as for Doctoral programmes in relevant branches of Science.
After pursuing Bachelor degree in engineering, all engineering students stand at the platform to choose their secure and bright career ahead. A majority of engineer opt their career in management or Post graduation (M.E./ M.Tech). A majority of engineering college are not able to give 100% placement to their students as a fresh graduate engineer.
